how to register mswinsck.ocx

Hi HU Members!

Many members asked about the registering of mswinsck.ocx, so i decided to make a Highly descriptive tutorial with pics, so that users will easily get what to do.

The tutorial is for both Windows XP as well as for Windows 7 for 32BIT

Let begin the tutorial :

Step 1 :

You need to copy MSWINSCK.OCX file and past it to system32 folder of your pc
To do so, go to “My Computer” of your pc and open “C:” drive

STEP 2:

Open “C:” and go to WINDOWS FOLDER as shown below

STEP 3:

After opening “C:” drive open “WINDOWS” folder and there you will find “system32″ folder as shown in the ScreenShot :

STEP 4:

Now, open the “System32″ folder and past “MSWINSCK.OCX” file there.

STEP 5:

For WINDOWS7:

Go to START and type cmd in search and open it as RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR as shown below :

For WINDOWS XP:

As i dont have WindowsXP, I cant show the ScreenShot, Just explained detailed for you below:

After pasting “MSWINSCK.OCX” file in “System32″ folder go to START > RUN and type “cmd” (eithout quotes) as shown below,

Now, press “ok” amd you will see the “Command prompt”

NOTE:- You must open “Command Prompt” as administrator. You can do that by going to Start > All programs > Accessories > Command Prompt Right click on “Command prompt” and select “Open as adimistrator”

AND THE END RESULT WILL BE LIKE BELOW:

NOW FOR REGISTERING MSWINSCK.OCX FOR 64BIT:

All the steps are same for 64bit users, Just copy and paste the MSWINSCK.OCX file in “Syswow64″

AND NOW DO ALL THE SAME PROCESS

NOW YOU DONE REGISTERING YOUR MSWINSCK.OCX
